Carl Gene Lamb was born May 5, 1941 in Jackson County and departed this life Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence, being, 75 years of age. He was the son of the late Edwin Lamb and Thelma (Harrison) Lamb Clark.
Carl is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bertha (Cain) Lamb of McKee and by four children, Randall Lamb and wife Lynn of Annville, Helen Rose and husband Audie of Georgetown, Connie Lamb and Rebecca Lainhart both of McKee. He is also survived by a brother, Edwin Lamb Jr. and wife Nancy of Waco, Bonnie Miller and husband Monroe of Irvine and Betty Taylor and husband Paul of McKee. Carle was blessed with six grandchildren, Tommy Lamb, Jason Lamb, Christopher Atkins, Ryan Atkins, Rachel Lamb and Brandy Lainhart and by six great grandchildren, Jace Atkins, Jaxon Richardson, Katy Kirby, Solo Lamb, Alissa Atkins and Addison Atkins.
In addition to his parents, Carl was also preceded in death by his sister, Pauline McClure and step father, Jack Clark.
Funeral service was 1:00PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Rose officiating. Burial followed in the Harrison Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
