Burial here ???∼Reuben transferred his Revolutionary War pension from Burke County, North Carolina to Knox County, Tennessee in September, 1835.
It is worth noting that there are two graves in front of his grand children (two rows directly in front of his daughter Sarah Walker Smith) marked with field stones in Old Beaver Ridge Cemetery on Copper Ridge Road in Knox County. It is possible that Reuben and his wife are buried there as Old Beaver Ridge was established in 1815 and was in use at the time of his death. One of the Fox family plots is next to the Smith plot referenced. He also has sons buried in Pleasant Forest and Edgewood Cemeteries in Knox County. He could be buried in one of those cemeteries.
