Mary Louise Milliken, 79, of Wenatchee, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005.

She was a 60-year resident of Wenatchee. She helped run the family orchard on Wenatchee Heights and was a bookkeeper for several companies.

Survivors include her children, Mike Milliken of East Wenatchee, Mark Milliken of Casper, Wyo., and Shari Milliken of Leavenworth; her sister, Vickie Brown of Richland; and her brother, Dick Hulseman of Richland.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Riverwest, 900 N. Western Ave.

Arrangements are by Jones and Jones Funeral Directors.


Mary Louise Milliken, 79, of Wenatchee passed away July 27, 2005. Mary was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to the love and well being of her children and grandchildren.

Mary was born to Richard C. and Victoria Hulseman in Mt. Vernon in 1926, and was the oldest of four children. The Hulsemans farmed a walnut orchard near Fields Point on Lake Chelan until 1943, when they moved to Wenatchee. Mary graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1944, and graduated from business school. She met and married Gerald Milliken in 1948. They had three children, Mark, Shari and Mike. Mary worked as a bookkeeper while raising her family and helping her husband run their orchard business on Wenatchee Heights. Most recently she was a resident at RiverWest in Wenatchee. Mary is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a grandson. She is survived by her son, Michael Milliken and his wife Connie of East Wenatchee; son, Mark Milliken and his wife Sandra of Casper, Wyoming; her daughter, Shari Milliken of Leavenworth and her fiance Steve Baughn; and grandchildren Jami Milliken, Eric Milliken, Emily Milliken; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by her sister, Vickie Hulseman; and brother, Richard Hulseman both of Richland.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate her Life and share memories with her family and friends will be held at RiverWest, 900 N. Western Avenue on Thursday, August 4, 2005, at 2:00 p.m.
