Born February, 1942, in New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul Parker Hood and Gertrude Livinia Sherman Hood.
She was an intake coordinator for Home Health Services in El Cajon, and was a graduate of South Dade High School in Miami, Fla.
Survivors include: one uncle, William A. Hood, Louisville; and six cousins.
A private graveside service will be held Sunday, November 13, at Springhill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, by Rev. Bill Wilham.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer.
