Youngest son of James Isbell and Elizabeth Birdwell.

His death certificate lists Name of Cemetery: "Acuff Place."
An Isbell family history says: "They are buried at Acuff Cemetery."
There are tombstones for them at Pleas Mount Cemetery. The tombstone says Levi Isbell, not David Levi Isbell.

In the 1850 and 1860 censuses, he is shown as Levi Conaway, shown in the household of his mother Elizabeth Birdwell Isbell Conaway and her second husband, his stepfather John Conaway.

James Isbell Jr. family bible says Levi Isbell, son of James and Elizabeth Isbell, was born 17 July 1843. Tombstone says 1842.
