Kimberly A. Byers, age 55, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Geneva and Batavia, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016.
She was born August 3, 1961 in Harvey, the daughter of Robert and Karen (Foshang) Byers.
Kimberly worked as a travel agent for many years. She enjoyed traveling, swimming and spending time with her dog, Ginger. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother of Florida; brothers Tim (Idolina) and Bret both of Geneva; niece Melissa and great niece Abrielle both of Texas; aunt Joyce Thornton of Kirkland; uncle Bill Byers of Rockford; aunt Jane Johnson (Vernon) of Kirkland; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father.
A visitation for Kimberly will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the time of her memorial service at 4:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with Deacon Larry Motyka, officiating.
Interment will be held privately at Maple Cemetery in Kirkland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Cancer Society, 143 S First Street, Batavia, Illinois 60510 or the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago, Illinois 60604 would be appreciated.
