Maybelle was inducted into Texas Aviation Hall of Fame in 2001. Maybelle was the first woman honored with The Wright Brother's Master Pilot Award in 2004. Maybelle was presented the Lloyd P. Nolan Lifetime Achievement in Aviation Award by Wings Over Houston. She accumulated well over 30,000 flight hours in about 175 different planes in her 70+ year career.
