He worked at Brown Stove for 24 years as a Die Setter. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Cherokee County, North Carolina, but in recent years, Bobby was faithfully attending Valley Head United Methodist Church in Cleveland.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Edna Mae Reid; brother, Fred Reid Jr. and a sister, Helen Tate.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with a Michael Neubert officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior, from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM service time.
