Marian Garrett, age 97, died at her residence in Sun City, Arizona on Sunday, October 9th, 2016. She is formerly from Salem and moved to Arizona in 2014 to be near her family who were with her at the time of her passing.
Marian Garrett was born to Francis and Amy (Hults) Sipes on December 8th, 1918 in rural Omega Township. She married Thomas L. Garrett in Alma on June 18th, 1949. Tom preceded her in death on October 31st, 1983. In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by two brothers, their wives and a sister: Woodson and Armethia Simer; James and Sonja Sipes, and Geneva Sipes Boyd.
