Judy Chaney Crawford, 72, of Henderson passed to her Heavenly Home Friday October 7, 2016 at her daughter’s residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She is singing a new song with a new body, no tears, no sorrow, and pain free. There to greet her were her parents, Dean and Zelma Towell, formerly of Henderson, her son Eddie Dean Chaney and her granddaughter, Cassie Lynn Chaney-Ball. Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Hugh Crawford, daughter Debbie Wedding (Tom) of Henderson, grandson Jake D. Chaney of the US Airforce, brother Bill Towell and his wife Mick of Carmi, Illinois, brother and sister-in-law Kenny and Joyce Knight of Henderson, 5 nieces and her dear friend of 30 years Ann Andrews. Judy loved to decorate your home and did so as a representative with Home Interiors and Gifts for 25 years. She had a wonderful sales team that she served as their manager for 13 of the 25 years. Judy was also a Kentucky Colonel. Floral design and flower gardening were Judy’s hobbies. To her family, friends and members of her church, Cash Creek Baptist, she says thank you for your prayers, love and concern during her 5 year journey with cancer. A private family service will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Friends are invited to join her family at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Monday October 10th at 2:00 PM. Dr. Bill Patterson and Rev. Brandon Skaggs will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society for Ovarian and Lung Cancer Research or to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
