It is this researcher's belief that she had family previously living in New Haven who paid for her passage from Lithuania.
In 1907 she married Alexander Stanišauskas who was also born in Lithuania. Alexander Stanišauskas subsequently Anglicized his name to STANDISH which is the married name she carried and passed on to her 8 children with Alexander.
Elizabeth Gedrim passed away sometime in 1955. She is listed on the 1954 New Haven, Connecticut City Directory as 'widowed' but does not appear on the 1955 Directory.
