George Richard Locke (Dick) was to Helen and George T. Locke,he was the fourth of five children in the family..
The family moved to the countryside of Upton the children rode horses to school. His father died when he was thirteen years old and the family moved to town.
He met the love of his life, Neomia Sinkey while in high school.
He enlisted in the Army right out of high school and was set to go to basic training and married on May 29th, 1955, they are parents of four children.
George went to Alaska while Neomia finished high school. Neomia joined Dick in Alaska.
They moved back to Upton in 1958 where they made their home.
Dick was a top truck driver and could set tanks on a dime. He always said he had backed up at least a million miles in his lifetime.
He retired at age 42 because of heart attack and his favorite past time was doing mechanical things in his garage.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Neomia and grandson Jacob Ray.
He is survived by his children, a sister, fifteen grandchildren., 34 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
