Neil Bitner, 87, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, in Mesa. No services. Neil was born April 12, 1916, in Glasford, the son of Clarence and Delia Bitner.
Neil was employed by Caterpillar Inc. for 42 years and held the position of factory manager when he retired in 1977. He married Lucille Looger. She preceded him in death. He then married Glenda Fornear on Dec. 21, 1973, in Decatur. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Carol (Rick) Schorr; stepson, Jim Fornear; stepdaughter, Jeanne (Kenny) Puckett; two grandsons; one step grandson; two step granddaughters; two great step grandsons; two great step granddaughters.
