Melissa Ann (Sis) McClain Patrick was born in Bellefontaine OH. Sept. 11, 1950 to James Edward McClain,Sr. and Marjory Ann Dunaway McClain, who preceded her in death. She had two brothers, James Edward (Charlotte) McClain,Jr. of New Lebanon, OH and Terry Lee (Beverly) McClain of Bellefontaine,OH. and two sisters, Ms. Leroy (Patricia Lou) Higley of Weston, OH. and Ms. Jerry Todd (Tamera Jo) Inskeep of West Liberty, OH.

She was raised outside of Zanesfield OH. and was a 1968 graduate of the Logan Hills High School.

On November 28, 1969, Melissa married Charles Millard Patrick. They had two daughters, Jodi Lyn Patrick and Krista Jo Patrick.

She worked as a homemaker and as a secretary for the Logan County Auditors Office and Siemens Energy & Automation, as a cook and waitress for the Fraternal Order of Elks Lodge, and as a sales rep. for the Tupperware Co.

She loved her family, friends, quilting and her miniature Schnauzer dog, Muffin.

She passed away quietly, Jan. 15, 2006, from cancer and was buried Jan. 18.2006 in the Rushsylvania Cemetery, Rushsylvania, OH.
