COOKS MILLS — Anna Rochelle Ethridge, 59, of Cooks Mills, died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday (May 14, 1994) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Allen officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born May 11, 1935, in Jackson County, Tenn., the daughter of Hillus Moren and Brittie Virginia Green Hudson. She married George Ethridge Jr. in 1952; he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Debra) Bialeschki of Tolono, Mrs. Gordon (Pamela) Hansen of Veedersburg, Ind., and Mrs. Leo (Jan) Kemper of Mattoon; two brothers, Ronald Hudson of Villa Grove and Donald Hudson of Neoga; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Rita) Naive of Villa Grove, Mrs. James (Peggy) Bentley of Veedersburg, Ind., and Mrs. Herman (Joy) Hilligoss of Mattoon; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Mrs. Ethridge was an assembly line worker for General Electric in Mattoon. She was a member of the Marshall Avenue Christian Church and served as an elder there for more than 10 years.
