She was born Aug. 15, 1905, in Anderson, Ind., a daughter of Melvin E. and Nettie B. (CORNELL) BOTHWELL.
In 1923, she married Marion COLON. He died in 1941. In 1944, she married Elmer E. FOSTER. He died in 1971.
She was a Colon area resident since 1960, coming from Three Rivers. She attended Three Rivers Schools. For 61 years, she was employed as a seamstress at Three Rivers Furs. She retired in February 1987. She attended the Sturgis Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are two sons, Paul W. COLON, Mendon, and Donald K. COLON, Moorpark, Calif.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Earl (Yvonne) "Bonnie" BOWERSOX, Sturgis, and Mrs. John (Julia) KNUDSEN, West Haven, Conn.; two step-sons, Albert FOSTER, Blakeslee, Pa., and Harold FOSTER, Port Angels, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers.
Relatives and friends may call anytime today at the Schipper Funeral Home, Colon, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sturgis Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Joseph G. Liddick officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Sturgis.
