He was born March 14, 1959 in Shell Knob, MO, the son of Loya and Dora (Wilson) Ray. On September 9, 1978 in Mineral Springs Baptist Church he was united in marriage to Kathy Sue Skelton, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Dustin Ray and his wife Pamela of Aurora, MO and Dennis Ray and his wife Jenna of Cassville, MO; one daughter Susan Goodwin and her husband Chris of Cassville, MO; two brothers, Rick Ray and his wife Lanetta of Shell Knob, MO and Randy Ray and his wife Traci of Augusta, KS; one sister, Debbie Hickman and her husband Gene of Rogers, AR; three grandchildren, Payton, Dakota and Tanner and one on the way (Marietta) and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one infant child and his mother-in-law and father-in-law.
Doyle was a 1977 graduate of Cassville High School. He was employed as a bus mechanic for Cassville Schools for several years. His favorite pastime was hunting and he enjoyed farming and gardening. At the top of his list was his family.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Tim Blankenship will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
