Suggested edit: Barbara Caplinger died June 4, 1894 of paralysis. Her death was reported by her husband Hugh Caplinger. He did not know the names of her parents. Her granddaughter Nannie Turner Shoemaker said that Barbara and Hugh are buried in the Caplinger family cemetery on the Hollow Rd., Fulks Run. In 1895, Hugh gave their farm to Lewis Ritchie as payment for Lewis' taking care of Hugh's son Samuel Caplinger.
