Marvin D. Morgan, 84, of Bloomington, IL, formerly of Mackinaw, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at his home. Marvin was born September 21, 1932, in Mackinaw to Harry and Mary Canopy Morgan. He married Elizabeth M. Nantz October 18, 1969. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason Morgan of Yuma, AZ, Johnathon (Jennifer) Morgan of Normal, two grandchildren, Hunter and Gunner, one brother, Darwin (Doris) Morgan of Mackinaw. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.

Marvin attended Calvary Baptist Church in Normal. He had worked for Eureka Co. in Bloomington 34 years and he was an Army veteran. Marvin enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw. The Rev. Fred Moore will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, October 19, at Haensel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
