Mrs. Sherry J. Leasure, 59, of Harrisburg departed this life Saturday, October 15, 2016 at NEA in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Sherry was born July 17, 1957 in Harrisburg the daughter of V.A. and Pearly (Stevens) Vanhoozer. They have preceded her in death. She married Jimmy Leasure on August 31, 1974 and they have enjoyed forty-two years of marriage. Sherry has been a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for thirty-one years, she will be sorely missed. She was employed at Bear State Bank on Southwest Drive in Jonesboro, enjoyed singing at church, playing with her grandchildren, and spending time with all her family. Sherry is survived by her husband, Jimmy of the home in Harrisburg, two sons: Chris and wife Kristie Leasure of Jonesboro, Eric and wife Christie Leasure of Jonesboro, one brother, Larry and wife Connie Vanhoozer of Harrisburg, one sister, Shirley McIntare of Earle, two grandchildren: Xander and Kaleigh Leasure. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 6:00~8:00 with funeral services 10:00 A. M. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Jackson’s Funeral Home. Bro. Charles Lewis and Bro. Terry Tacker will conduct the services. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park
