Arne immigrated to the USA on June 24, 1930 at 13 years of age, and joined his family in Union City, New Jersey, where he attended high school.
He married Agnes Matilda (Bonefond) Cosgrove, a young widow on 16 Mar 1940 in Union City, New Jersey.
Arne died on 15 Jan 1953 at age 35 of liver failure, and was buried at Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
