Graveside services for Mr. Shelby J. Graves, 94, of Tampa, FL will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Alabama Presbyterian Cemetery. Rev. Allison Moody will be officiating, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Graves served in U.S. Army during World War II. He retired as a serviceman from Kiper Hardware with over 60 years of service. Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Graves.
Survivors include his two daughters, Carolyn Annette Jarrell and husband James "Buddy" Jarrell, Patty Brown and husband Preston; four grandchildren, James Jarrell, Barbara Elliott and husband Wade, Nathan Brown and Christopher Brown; two great grandchildren; and several nieces.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to givers favorite charity or to First Presbyterian Church in Monroe, LA.
