01 October 1932, Saturday, The Evening Independent, Massillon, Ohio, page 2: Mrs. Harriet Bock. Mrs. Harriet Bock, 89, died early this morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James McCleary, at 965 Walnut rd., SW. Besides Mrs. McCleary, she is survived by five other daughters, Mrs. Violet Walton, of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Catherine Offolter of Belvidere, Ill., Mrs. Ida Mauthe of Youngstown, Mrs. Andrew Stucker of Warren, and Mrs. Luella Thompson of Uhrichsville; three sons, George Bock living in Iowa and Charles and Albert Bock, both of Youngstown; 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m at the residence of Mrs. McCleary and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Church at Port Washington. Interment will be made at Port Washington.

Mrs. Harriet Bock, 89, mother of Violet Walton, 543 Front Ave. SW, this city, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James McCleary of Massillon. Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Walton, this city, Mrs. McCleary of Massillon, Charles Bock of Warren, Nellie Stocker of Warren, Catherine Affolter, residing in Illinois, Ida Murphy of Youngstown; Albert Bock of Youngstown, Luella Thompson of Uhrichsville and George Bock, residence unknown, 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
