Mrs. Flora Smith Casterline, age 59, of 5279 Wynterhall Way, Dunwoody, Ga., died Friday afternoon at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Ga., following a long illness.
Born in Wilmington on September 19, 1917, Mrs. Casterline was the daughter of the late Henry and Mrs. Bertha Holden Smith.
Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Casterline of the home; a son, Dale S. Casterline of Dallas, Tex.; a daughter Miss Kim Marie Casterline of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Lee Sissons of Wilmington, Mrs. Thelma Cannon of Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Bertha Malesky of Plymouth, Pa.; a granddaughter, Miss Donna Dale Casterline of Dallas, Tex.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Seagate Baptist Church with the Rev. T. Harold Steen officiating. Interment will follow in the Seagate Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coble's Oleander chapel Monday night from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Donations in Mrs. Casterline's memory may be sent to the Leukemia Society of America, Georgia Chapter at 1430 West Peachtree Street, N. W., Atlanta, Ga.
