In Loving Memory
Victoria Lee Morgan, a faithful member of the LDS community, passionate lifelong learner, and loving mother of four, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of eleven, died at the home of her devoted son Larry Senia in Salt Lake City on September 13, 2016. She was 83.
A native of Yugoslavia, where she was a noted diver before a bicycling injury cut short her Olympic ambitions, Victoria met and married her husband Charles Senia while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of his overseas assignment, they came to America in 1953 and settled in Maryland. Victoria worked hard to learn the English language and assimilate into the American culture, and she quickly succeeded in becoming a proud U.S. citizen.
Victoria's four children are Elizabeth Purtee, Christine Rose, Douglas Senia and Larry Senia. In 1991 she settled in Salt Lake City, becoming a dedicated temple worker at the Jordan River Utah Temple. She continued in this joyful service as long as her health permitted, which was for eight years.
Victoria will always be held in loving memory by her friends and family.
