He attended school in Germany and Port Huron. He worked for Huron Automatic Screw Co. for 18 years before retiring tin 1976. He was a member of St. Paul's American Lutheran Church. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II in the CB's. he was a member of VFW Charles Schoor No. 796 in Port Huron. He was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock collectors.
Mr. Albert is survived by his wife, Lillian; two sons, Alexander C., and Richard John, both of Port Huron; a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Albert Mallon, Union Lake; two brothers, Fred Algonac, and Henry, Glendale, Calif.; three stepsons, Robert Doyle, Burlington, Ontario, Paul Doyle, St. Catherines, Ontario, and Christopher Doyle, Sarnia, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's American Lutheran Church. Rev. William Eisenmann, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Charles Schoor Post No 796 will conduct military rights at the cemetery. Pallbearers are Andrew Felk, Jerry Marcozzi, John Runk, Walter Radigan, Myrkle Keen and Lee Wolff.
