MERRIL BRYCE DE YOUNG
Merril Bryce De Young passed away in his sleep on the morning of November 28, 1956, at a tender age of 16 months and eight days. He leaves to mourn, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale De Young of Pella. Mr. and Mrs. John De Young of Searsboro, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter R. Meyer of Pella are the grandparents.
Services were held at the Van Dyk-Duven funeral home on Friday, Nov. 30, at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Henry Verduin officiated at the service. Interment at Graceland Cemetery.
Jesus has taken a beautiful bird
Out of the garden of love;
Borne it away to the city of God,
Home of the angels above.
Full blooming flowers alone will not do,
Some must be young and ungrown;
So the frail buds he is gathering too,
Beautiful gems for His throne.
