Ruby “Sister Baby” Nell Netherly Greer, daughter of the late Willis and Entha Thompson Netherly Jr., was born on October 21, 1937, she was the youngest of four. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the East Liberty Baptist Church and also a graduate of East Liberty School.

She was employed with Holly Farm for a number of years and upon her retirement she became a nurses aide to the Mental Health and Mental Retardation (MHMR) patients for 12 years.

Ms. Greer is preceded in death by her daughter Shelda Lynn Greer, brother Johnnie Ray Netherly, sister Lou Tilda Singleton, and special cousin Gloria Jean Thompson.

Left to cherish her memories her sons Gustarvus Wayne Netherly (Sheretta) of Center, TX and Weldon Greer Jr. (Ariel) of Sugarland, TX, grandchildren Michael Greer (Shonda) of Center, TX, La Toya Greer of Killeen, TX, Tremaine Hewitt (Latrise) of Center, TX, Justin Wayne Netherly of Baytown, TX, Haley Greer of Sugarland, TX, Tina Greer of Sugarland, TX, brother Lawrence Ray Netherly, only and special aunt Ozell Garrett of Shebyville, TX, neices Linda Wimberly (Willie) of Landcaster, California, Terry Powdrill (Kermit) of Alblene, Jerry McDonald of Richmond, Virginia (Willie), nephew Cedric Netherly, God children Jerry and Linda Hooper of Center, TX, a special God Brother Felton Greer of Giddings, TX, special cousins Beaulah V.
