Herman Willard Porter, 72, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016. Mr. Porter was born in Horry County, SC, a son of the late Naomi Stevens Porter and Burris Hubert Porter. He was a member of Quinby Baptist Church. He owned and operated a woodcutting business. He loved fishing and antique cars, especially 55 Chevys. Mr. Porter was a loving father and grandfather.Surviving are his sons, Darryl Porter of Darlington and Wesley Porter and Jason Porter, both In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Allen Porter.
