Miss Guthrie was born in New Bern, N.C.
Survivors include her mother, Ethel Toler Guthrie of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary G. Hucks of Portsmouth and Jackie Guthrie of Chesapeake; and three brothers, John J. Guthrie of Suffolk, and Erroll G. Guthrie and Danny Guthrie, both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel by the Rev. James Arcieri. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
