In October of 1950 Sue was united in marriage to Leroy Doyle Hodge and to this union four children was born. Sue was a Christian and attended Crossville Southern Baptist Church in Bunker, Missouri. Her hobbies included playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sue was preceded in death by parents, one daughter, Sheila Hodge, six brothers, Ranza, Denzil, Willie, Harry, Wilbur and Riley five sisters, Delsia Brooks, Dolly Pryor, Victoria White, Tressie Reeves Barton and Edith Mary.
Sue is survived by her husband, Doyle Hodge of Bunker, Missouri, one son, Jerry Levi Hodge and wife Yawny of Bunker, Missouri, two daughters, Sharon K. Wisdom of Bunker, Missouri, Shelly Diane Hodge of Bunker, Missouri, five grandchildren, Teela Brickey (Mark), Jessica Bay, Jeremy Hodge (Kelly), Devon Wisdom and Chayton Hodge, six great-grandchildren, Keara, Ledgen, Emily, Lilly, Cooper and Denton. Sue will be deeply missed by her family and many friends who will mourn her passing.
