Intrepid Find A Grave volunteer William Kazupski (#47113700) did the research, and found, in answer to my question about where Mrs. Lombard's remains are:
"Mary is in fact interred at Chicago's Mt. Olivet Cemetery. I checked with Olivewood Cemetery in California and she is there by name only next to her husband Albert. And Mt. Olivet confirmed that she was buried there in 1952 and never removed." Adding "Cemetery records in Illinois are very well kept as demanded by law."
