Francis Kay Cox, 64, of Collinsville, Ill., born on May 12, 1952 in Cobden, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, in Collinsville.

Francis was the foundation that held the family together, she was always a "go getter" and enjoyed traveling. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her pet birds and dogs. She also enjoyed gambling and especially bingo and spending time with her family watching movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Vernita, nee Musgraves, Trammel; two sisters, Brenda and Wilma; her former husband Bobby G. Cox Sr.; step-son Bobby G. Cox Jr.

Surviving are her daughter Rebecca Cox of Collinsville, Ill.; step daughter, Cheryl L. Myers of Collinsville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Christopher (Amber) Kircher, Chelsea Joaquin, Justin Cox, Tommy (Sally) Myers, Tammy Myers and Willy (Lacy) Myers; eight great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Evelyn, Cindy, Joyce, Tommy, Dave, Luke, Marv, Pat, Rocky, Jack, Gene, Phil, Timmy, Rosemary, Buck and Mike.

Visitation: Friends may call 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Services: Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Ruth Eaker officiating.
