RICHMOND—Ronald E. Broadhurst, 74, Orrick, Mo., died Wednesday at a hospital in Richmond. He was a lifelong Ray County resident. Mr. Broadhurst worked for the General Motors Corp. Fairfax plant 20 years before he retired in 1967. He was a member of Local 31 of the United Auto Workers. He was a member of the Orrick Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Gertie Broadhurst of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Bellis, Orrick; a brother, Raymond Broadhurst, Excelsior Springs; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Stokes, Orrick; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in South Point Cemetery, near Orrick. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the Gowing Chapel, Orrick.
