Bernice E. Buckminster, 93, of Norman, passed away October 12, 2016. She was born March 5, 1923 in Lahoma, Oklahoma to John and Lena Vathauser Vette.

Bernice dedicated her life to taking care of her family and providing them with a warm and loving home. She was an amazing seamstress, artist and an exceptional cook, especially when it came to her homemade chicken and noodles and fried chicken. She was an avid OU Football Fan and loved the OKC Thunder.

Bernice was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by countless loved ones and friends.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Mabel and Bernita and brother Lawrence.

She leaves cherished memories with her husband Glenn, daughter Glenda Wolfard and husband Neal of Colorado Springs, Colorado, two grandchildren, Denise Daniels and husband Brian and Todd Wolfard and wife Claudia and four great grandchildren, Ashley Daniels, Cale Daniels, Ivan Wolfard and Isaac Wolfard.

Graveside services to celebrate her life will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.

Services under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home, Norman, Oklahoma.
