The Late Sidney Newcity
Sidney Newcity of Morrisville, who was buried in Morrisville last week was the son of Edward and Clistia(sic) Newcity, having been born in Canada 79 years ago last Aug. 3. He is survived by two sons, Clifton I. Newcity of Maine and Max C. Newcity of Lowell, Mass., and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Jones of Morrisville : by one brother, Austin Newcity, of Montgomery, and by one sister, Edwina Newcity of Bristol, Conn., and by six grandchildren. Mr. Newcity had lived in Morrisville for 42 years. At the age of 25was united in marriage to Laura May Fushey of Montgomery, who died 31 years ago. He have been twice married since. He was the father of seven children, three of whom survive him.
The funeral was held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Jones, on Bridge street. Burial will be made at the Cadys Falls cemetery in the spring.
