Pamela “Pam” S. West, 68, of 151 Barewood Drive, passed away on Sunday at her residence. She was born Feb. 7, 1949 in Johnston County to the late Thomas Milford and Ada Pearl Hall Lassiter Stanley. She was a secretary with Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and the former Minshew Funeral Home. She and her husband served as missionaries to Ivory Coast West Africa for 21 years. She was a member of Unity Free Will Baptist Church in Smithfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Rev. Robert West.

Surviviors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Ryan McDougald of Blountstown; two grandsons, Luke and Wesley McDougald; a sister and her husband, Pat and Charles McDonald of Hamlet, NC; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, David and JoAnn West of Kinston and Terry West of Jacksonville; nephews, Lucas McDonald, David West, Jr. and Jason West.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.

Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. at Unity Free Will Baptist Church in Smithfield, NC. Reverends Mike McAuley and Jay Summerlin will officiate. Interment will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield.

Flowers are welcome; however memorials may be made to National Association of Free Will Baptist International Missions, P.O. Box 5002, Antioch, TN 37011-5002.
