Fremont Lois R. Jordan, age 91 of Fremont, passed away Monday at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids following a short illness. Lois was born on Nov. 8, 1924 graduated as Valedictorian from Fremont High School in 1942. Lois married Burton Jordan on Aug. 21, 1947 in Fremont and Burton preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1992. She had worked as a secretary at the office of attorney Graydon Dimkoff until her retirement in 1986. Lois was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church and held a strong faith throughout her life and most recently would be heard saying, "I am living by faith".

Lois is survived by her children, Bruce (Judy) Jordan of Grand Rapids; Nancy (Zachery) Herbig of Grant; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Mindy) Jordan; Sara (Brian) Vandebyl; Bradley (Holly) Wyn; Amanda Wyn; Joshua Herbig; 5 great grandchildren; her brother, Charles "Chuck" (Carol) Witteveen of Grand Rapids; her brothers-in-laws, Max Jordan of Fremont; Lester (Marilyn) Jordan of Muskegon; and her sister-in-law, Mabel Kolk of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Luke Snyder on May 20, 2016; her sister, Marjorie Prince on April 28, 2013; and her brother, Richard Witteveen on April 30, 2013.

VISITATION: Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10-11am at the Second Christian Reformed Church 600 Apache Drive Fremont MI 49412.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11am at the Second Christian Reformed Church of Fremont.
