Madeline was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, an occasional visit to the casino, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Walter J. Lawrence; sisters, Livia Tuttoilmondo and Mary Doyle; and brothers, Salvatore, Frank, Joseph and Peter Vella.
Madeline is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Berarducci, husband John, of Erie, and Diane Fresch, husband Robert, of Colorado, and one son, David Lawrence, fiance Robin Rieger, of East Springfield, Pa.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Joann Vella Kaufmann, husband Charles of Ohio; her brother, Harry Vella of North East; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
