The Nevada Daily Mail, Sat., Jan. 30, 1937--MRS. SARAH PILCHER, 94, OF NEAR MILO PASSED AWAY SATURDAY MORNING--Mrs. Sarah Pilcher, on of the pioneer residents of Vernon county, died at 12:11 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her son, Frank Pilcher, near Milo. Had Mrs. Pilcher lived until March 19 she would have celebrated her ninety-fourth birthday. Mrs. Pilcher, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Neff, was born March 19, 1843, in Waterloo, Ill. Her husband, J. T. Pilcher, died many years ago. Mrs. Pilcher leaves five children. Her three daughters are Mrs. Cornie Encott of Hill City, South Dakota, Mrs. Lillie Wallace of Clinton, and Mrs. Sallie Kennedy of Montevallo; and her two sons are Albert and Frank Pilcher of Milo. The funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the Frank Pilcher home and burial will be in the Virgil City cemetery. The Ferry Funeral Home will be in charge.
