Steve E. Pomajzl, 96, rural Wilber, passed away Wednesday (2/2/05) in Crete, after a long and fulfilled life. Steve was born in Saline County (9/14/08) to Emil and Elizabeth (Smith) Pomajzl. Retired mechanic and farmer.
Steve leaves a wife of 60 years, Leona; daughter, Kathy Zajicek, Wilber; sons, daughters in law, Steve and Terri, Lincoln, Mike and Donna, Boonville, Mo., Rick and Lynn, Beatrice, Jim and Jeanne, Weston, Randy "PO" and Pam, Grand Island;18 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; brothers: Bill, Wilber, Elmer, Crete. Preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Tom Zajicek.
Celebration of life with family: 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete. Memorials may be given to Crete Sokols, Crete Area Medical Center or the family. The family requests no flowers.
