Fred J. Malone Always In Our Hearts Forever In Our Memories Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully Dec. 30, 2006 with his family at his side. Fred J. Malone was born Jan. 21, 1924 in Picher, Oklahoma to Pearl and Buck Malone. He married Ethel Davis Sept. 10, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They celebrated 60 years of marriage this year. He is survived by his wife, Ethel; seven children, Earl Malone, Jerry (Indra) Malone, Bonita (Jaime) Fraire, Russell (Leslie) Malone, David Malone, Deanna (Terry) Herrera, Tina (Bill) Patrick; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Thomas James; his parents; brother, Newlin; and daughter-in-law Kim Malone. Fred served in the U.S. Army during World War II at Camp Kearns and worked 15 years at the Cudahy Meat Packing plant before working at the Salt Lake City Water Dept. He retired and with his wife and sisters-in-law traveled Europe. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. (Salt Lake Tribune - Jan 1, 2007)
