LOUISBURG - Rochelle Leonard Southall Hayes, 67, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 21, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg. Entombment was at Lancaster Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilson Taylor Southall, and was a daughter of the late Eugene Bryant and Lillie Valentine Leonard. She was a member of the Louisburg Moose Lodge.
Surviving: her husband, Walton Hayes; sons, Louis Southall and Jarrett Southall (Wendy), all of Louisburg; stepdaughters, Dawn Lancaster of Raleigh, Martha Boger (Wayne) of Kernersville; sisters, Marjorie Dickerson and Nell Wrenn, both of Louisburg, Sue Bartholomew of Rocky Mount; brother, Sam Leonard of Louisburg; and three grandchildren.
