Janet Patterson, 83, of New Paltz, NY, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Kingston Hospital. She was born February 6, 1933 in New York City and was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Heavey) Seaquist. She was the wife of the late Floyd Patterson.
Janet was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in New Paltz.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Patterson of Kingston, NY and Janene Patterson and her husband, Eric Barbieri of New Paltz; three brothers, Billy Seaquist of Staten Island, Kevin Seaquist of Utah and Timmy Seaquist of Long Island; her grandchildren, Kevin, Katelyn, Christopher, Matthew, Isabella and Ryan and great-grandchild, Caden. She was predeceased by a sister, Connie and two brothers, Alfred and George.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, 34 South Chestnut Street, New Paltz, NY followed by burial in New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
