Neva Jeanne (Wilson) Wood of Miami, OK passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Fairland Care Center in Fairland, OK. She was 79.
Neva was born April 18, 1937 in Miami, OK to Moody Lee and Geneva (Jackson) Wilson. She was a lifetime Miami resident, a member of the Bethany Christian Church in Miami, member of the Miami Chapter of O.E.S. and American Legion Auxiliary.
Neva worked at the Ottawa County Election Board and Otasco and was a volunteer in the Gift Shop at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami.
She married William Donald Wood and he preceded her in death in 2006, she was also preceded by a son Tony in 2006, her parents and 2 brothers Arthur Wilson and Dwight Rickard.
Survivors include: her daughter Teri Wood of Tulsa, OK. a brother John Wilson and wife Erma of Powell, MO, a grandson Kelly Don Wood of Alabama and 2 great –grandchildren Gentry and Natalie of Alabama.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK.
