Mrs. Connie "Charlotte" Dye, 46, Nancy, Kentucky, died Friday, December 21, 2001 at her residence.
Born August 13, 1955, in Somerset, she was a daughter of the late Orville C. and Thelma Doss Johnson. She was a nurse's aide at Britthaven of Somerset and attended New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include a special friend, Dickie Dye; a son, Scottie Lee (and Barbara) Dye, Nancy; two sisters, Darlene (and Roy) Luttrell, Windsor and Kathy (and Vernon) Wiles, Nancy; a grandson, Matthew Gordon; a granddaughter, Danielle Gordon; three nieces; two nephews; and several special great-nieces and nephew.
Preceding her in death were her parents; maternal grandparents, Loretta and Edd Doss, who raised her; and paternal grandparents, Elmore and Minnie Johnson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 24 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, Somerset with Bro. J.S. New officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Nancy.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
