GENE ANDREW "ANDY" TURNER-GARVER
August 20, 1970 - October 9, 2016

Gene Andrew "Andy" Turner-Garver went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Andy was born August 20, 1970 in El Dorado Springs, Cedar County, Missouri to Gene Edward Turner and Donna Mae Ashlock Turner. Andy was adopted and raised by his Grandparents, June Rosenbaum Turner Garver and James Elton Garver. Andy was raised in Mindenmines, Missouri and attended school at Liberal, Missouri.

Andy was united in marriage to Amy Kathleen Wilson on June 11, 1990 and to this union a daughter, Wendee Gene, was born.

Andy worked for years as a heavy equipment operator for Commercial Metals until his health forced him to retire. His health continued to deteriorate as the years pasted until he was not able to do much. He did enjoy his CB friends & was a C.B. operator. Andy was known as American Eagle 1436 & Flat Lander 1105.

Andy grew up hunting and fishing with family members and dreamed of having a small timber farm to hunt on near Stockton and to have his animals on (dogs, cats, & a goat). Andy had a kind gentle heart and loved his grandchildren.

Andy is survived by his wife, Amy, of the home; his daughter Wendee (Ryan): his granddaughters, Alayna Faith, Lily Jo, & Emily Rose: his grandsons, Andrew Turner (Andy's name sake), and Ryan William; his adopted mother & grandmother, Ethel June Rosenbaum Turner Garver; his sister & aunt, Patsy Turner Faulkner and her children Shelli (Kevin) McVey and their family and Mitzi Poole and her family; his birth mother, Donna Bigil and his half siblings Daniel, Michael, Alicia, & Gabriel and their families; and by a host of other relatives and friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his birth father, Gene Edward Turner; his adopted father and grandfather, James Elton Garver: and his grandfather, Elton Ueal Turner.

No services are planned but there will be a celebration of Andy's life at a future time for family and friends. Andy's final resting place will be in the Stockton Cemetery in Stockton, Missouri.

Andy will be missed by all that knew and loved him. A hugh rainbow appeared in the sky as we said our good-byes to let us know that Andy had settled into his Heavenly Home.
