Letha L. Beach Moore, 81, of North Vernon (formerly of Bloomington), passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 7 PM, Friday, December 22, 2006, at Vance~Fisher~Sawyer Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Hardin officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM to time of service.
Born July 19, 1925, in Brown County, IN, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth "Liza" (Mathis) Petro. She married Ernest Beach in 1945, he preceded her in death on December 15, 1971, she then married Ralph E. Moore in 1977, he preceded her in death in October 2003.
Mrs. Moore had worked several years at the Brown County Inn in Nashville, IN. She was of Pentecostal faith, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and search and find puzzles.
Mrs. Moore is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Robert) Shipley of North Vernon, one brother, Bobbie Beach of Colorado, five grandchildren; Brian (Jenny) Shipley, James (Jennifer) Shipley, Russel, Bobby and Melissa Beach, thirteen great-grandchildren, and Carleen Law, a dear friend who was like an adopted daughter.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Ernest Beach and Ralph E. Moore, a daughter, Connie Beach, and one sister, Gladys Hardin.
Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
