Passing of M. M. Robson - The death occurred in Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital on Monday, April 27th, of Murdo McRae Robson, North Dumfries Township, in his 76th year. Mr. Robson suffered a stroke some three weeks ago, after which he was removed to the hospital. Born in Blandford Township, near Bright, he took up farming in this district some 43 years ago, where he had since resided, Mr. Robson was well and favorably known to many friends. He was a Presbyterian in religion, being a member of the Ayr congregation. Besides his widow, whose maiden name was Helen Laing, Mr. Robson is survived by three sons and one daughter, as follows: Thomas, Charles and Donald, all residing near Ayr, and Mrs. Emerson McDonald, Ayr; also by four grandchildren. The funeral will take place from the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor, Ayr, on Thursday, April 30th, at 2.30 p.m. to the Ayr Cemetery.

AYR - A retired farmer, Murdo (Mac) McRae Robson, 75, of RR 1, Ayr, died Monday in the K-W Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. Mr. Robson was born in Blandford Township, Oxford County. He was Presbyterian. His wife survives. Mr. Robson was born Dec. 19, 1877. Also surviving are three sons, Thomas, Charles and Donald of Ayr district and one daughter, Mrs. Emmerson (Janet) McDonald of Ayr; and four grandchildren. The body is at the Ball Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Duncan Farris officiating. Interment will be in Ayr Cemetery
