Linda Pearson
Great Falls — Linda (Lynn) Gayle Pearson, 57, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at The Church of Christ, 3400 Central Avenue, Great Falls. There will also be a Memorial Service in Wilmington, Delaware.
Lynn was born March 12, 1956, in Wilmington, Delaware to Samuel and Ruth Breitigan.
Lynn graduated from Goldey-Beacon College in 1988. She worked for 12 years as an Administrative Specialist for the State of Delaware and retired in 1996. After retiring, Lynn fulfilled her long-time dream of moving to the country. She relocated to Montana in 2008 and purchased a homestead outside of Great Falls where she gardened and cared for her cats, chickens, and dog. Lynn loved living in the country and was at peace enjoying the outdoors and her animals. In 2012, she experienced one of the greatest joys in her life, the birth of her grandson, Cannon Henry Breitigan.
Lynn had a creative flair and enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting, and writing fictional works and poetry. She was an active member of the Church of Christ and a faithful Christian. Her strong faith and will to live was a testimony to her family, friends and those whose lives she touched during her treatment.
Lynn is survived by her sons, Jason (Erinn) Breitigan of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Justin Saul Pearson of Great Falls, Montana. Her sister, Susan Pugh of Newark, Delaware and her brother, Alan Breitigan of Newark, Delaware.
